Man-made fairy tale
Despite of warm summer days the residence of the Belarusian Santa Clause in Belovezhskaya Pushcha is open for visitors. At the same time works on its improvement proceed. The next wood sculpture, Fantastic Lake, appeared recently.
The employees of the National Park have created the lake all for one week. They have dug out foundation ditch, have put sod on its banks and have filled it with water. Magic ducks, storks and even the King-frog with the arrow put by Ivan-Prince are placed there.
Other heroes of fairy tales will also put up at the residence soon. Now the master Alexanderr Maslo from Gomel city is working here. He is making fife new wooden sculptures. Emelya with a pike, Buratino boy, Alenushka Sister and Ivanushka Brother are among them.
According to the Santa Clause, the residence is not empty in the summer season. Many tourists come here. After the residence started its work in December of last year over 40,000 tourists from 39 countries visited this site.
