Rotten round wood of the best quality in the past to stoke fire-boxes of the local housing and communal services (2006 2008)

Events, facts, documents and evidences: It was described on the previous pages how much wood was spoiled on the wood processing plant of the National Park. In order to get rid of it, since 2006, industrial wood of the best quality in the past was managed to remove from the area of the wood procrssing plant, and partly to deliver it for a boiler-house of the local housing and communal services that to use it as fire-wood in the winter period.

These photos testify that the boiler-house commonly uses fire wood and wood off-cuts.

These photos demonstrate the stack of industrial wood which was brought from the wood processing plant to use it as fire-wood in the boiler-house. Small-sized logs are mixed with the bigger ones.

These photos show the stack of big-sized logs of the best in the past quality which was brought from the wood processing plant to use it as fire-wood in the boiler-house. The spruce and pine trees such as this huge dimension made so-called elite of the gene found of Belovezhskaya Pushcha.

Besides, being mixed with slab and wood off-cuts, even planks produced for sale but turned black and then rotten on the wood processing plant, because of laying open-air for a long time, have been delivered to use them as fire-wood for the boiler-house.

In two years, in April of 2008 (after the heating season has come to the end) the wood stores around the boiler-house in the area of the local housing and communal services looked as the following.

These photos demonstrate the large stocks of off-cuts and slab from the wood processing plant to use them as fire-wood in the boiler-house.

While deeper in the area of the boiler-house, the large stack consisted of very thick logs is stored. Thos round timber was the best in the past and was brought from the wood processing plant to use it as fire-wood. These logs were laying on the area of the wood processing plant for a long time and actually turned to be rotten.

Thus, these facts and evidences also testify how irrational wood processing work was managed in the National Park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha".
